Components
The critical components that we normally repair, maintain and rehabilitate mainly include the following ones:
- Salient poles
- Coils up to 16 kV
- Specific generator and/or components
- Roebel bars up to 18 kV
- Runners
Rotor refurbishment
We refurbished the rotor poles, which included their on-site removal and reinstallation. In addition, we cleaned up the stator dry ice. This hydro generator has a 75 MW power rating.
Runner replacement and rotor refurbishment
We supplied and installed a runner, and we removed, refurbished and reinstalled the rotor poles directly at our client’s facilities.
Stator rewind
Supply and on-site installation of 280 stator coils. Insulation system for a 13.8 kV voltage.
Generator and runner replacement / Rehabilitation and replacement of controls
In 2018, we carried out this project to increase the power rating from 10.1 to 13.6 MW. We installed a new generator, a new runner and a governor as part of this work.

For this refurbishment project, we managed the on-site and in-shop project engineering to ensure the complete rehabilitation of the turbine-generator unit.
